Ranch Event Chosen For The 7th Year to Cater The "Special Thank You" From Comic-Con International Diego Comic-Con Volunteers


Since 2014, Ranch Events was chosen for the 7th time to cater the “Special Thank You” from Comic-Con International to San Diego Comic-Con Volunteers. If you live in San Diego or even Southern California, you are probably aware that San Diego hosts, every July, the biggest comic convention in the world. If you were visiting Balboa Park in September and stopped at the Air & Space Museum to see the memorabilia you might have thought Comic Con was back in town. You would be half right in that Comic-Con International was back in San Diego, but this time they were hosting a late lunch to say “Thank You” to all the Comic-Con Volunteers who work the July event.

Many of the volunteers came dressed in comic character regalia to help officially close to the 2023 Comic Con year. The volunteers enjoyed a raffle from Comic-Con International and myriad of food stations provided by Ranch Events. Like the volunteers, many of the RanchEvents staff dressed for the occasion as well.

The 600 Comic Con Volunteers started arriving around 3 pm and before a short meeting to kick off the Thank You meal most scoped out all the different food sections to see what food choices would be available and to determine what station they would go to first. Ranch Events out did itself…by providing eight food stations for this event. There was a Mexican food station, a BBQ Station, an Italian Station, a Cajun Station, a Sweets Station and -2- Beverage Stations. Some of the food was cooked on-site, so the food aromas in the room were swirling and smells made your mouth water.


The volunteers were smiling when the event was over and commented on how delicious all the food was and what a great selection Ranch Events provided.
